Our Vision

Trinity Community Children Home or TCC Home is  a sanctuary for orphaned, abandoned, battered, abused and neglected children. Our main aim is to provide care and the hope of a new life for young children and those in their early teens. Our vision is to nurture and strengthen these children through practical programmes and by teaching them the power of God’s awesome love to heal battered spirits and restore broken relationships.

A Godly Mandate

Pastor Collin Gordon and the Trinity Community Centre congregation began pioneering efforts to set up such a home many years ago and in December 2006, TCC was finally in operation. Responding to the burden God had placed in Pastor Collin’s heart to care for children in need, he and the church team started collecting provisions from generous church members, which were then distributed to orphanages throughout Petaling Jaya and Kuala Lumpur. The experience and knowledge gained in dealing with orphanages in the early years prompted Pastor Collin to venture boldly forward to set up a proper home for needy children. Today, the children of TCC are housed in a rented semi detached house at Section 4, Petaling Jaya. TCC is open to both boys and girls between the ages of four and twelve, comprising Chinese, Indian and Orang Asli origin and can cater for up to 25 children.

Tenets of Faith of Trinity Community Children Home Society

1The Bible is the Eternal Word of God
The Bible is the eternal, infallible, immovable, unshakable, impregnable, incorruptible Word of God and is our sole guide that sets forth a criterion for a heaven-bound people. The Bible is the revelation of God to man, the inerrant authoritative guide for faith and conduct (2 Timothy 3:15-17, 1 Thess. 2:13).

2The Triune Godhead / Holy Spirit
The one true God revealed Himself as the eternal, self-existent, immutable “I AM”, the Creator of the universe and the Redeemer of mankind (Deut. 6:4, Isa. 43:10-11). The triune God is the Holy Trinity (Father, Son and Holy Spirit).

3

The Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the true God and true Man (Matt. 13, Heb. 1: 1-3)

4Original Sin and the Fall of Man
Man is a created being, made in the likeness and image of God (Gen. 1:26-27). The first man, Adam, by his transgression fell, thus sin entered into the world resulting in physical and spiritual death, which is separation from God (Isa. 59:1-2).

5The Salutation of Man
The Blood of Jesus Christ is the only hope of redemption for mankind from the stain of sin. Salvation is received through repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12).

6The Church
The true church is the body of Christ (1 Corr. 12:12-27). Each believer born of the Spirit is an integral part of the general assembly and the church of the first born written in heaven (Eph. 1:22-23, Heb. 12:23).

7The Mission of the Church
The purpose of God concerning man is to seek and to save that which is lost (Lk. 19:10), to be an agency for evangelising the world (Acts 1:8, Mark 16:15-16) to be a corporate body in which man may worship God to be a channel of God’s purpose to build a body of saints being perfected in the image of His Son (Eph. 4L11-16).

8Baptism by Immersion
The ordinance of baptism by immersion in water is scripturally commanded. All who repent of their sins and believes in Christ Jesus as Saviour and Lord are to be baptised (Matt. 28:19). Baptism is a declaration of a good conscience towards God, a symbol of the believers identification with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection (Acts 2:41).

9The Lord's Supper
The Lord’s Supper consisting of bread and the cup of the fruit of the vine – is the symbol expressing our sharing the divine nature of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ (2 Peter 1:4), a memorial of His sufferings and death (1 Cor. 11:26).

The Baptism in the Holy Spirit
This experience, which is an endowment of power for Christian service was active and necessary for the early church as well as for all of us in this present age (Acts 1:4-8, 1 Cor. 1012:1-31). These are definite signs that accompany this experience such as overflowing fullness of the Spirit (John 7:37-39), evidence of the fruit of the Spirit (Gal. 5:22-23), intensified consecration and dedication to work for God (Acts 2:42), an ever-abounding love for the Word of God and an ever-abounding love for Christ, and a burden for the lost (Mark 16:20). The baptism of all born again believer in the “Holy Spirit” is always witnessed by the physical                             evidence of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance (Acts 2:4).

11Divine Healing
Divine healing was clearly provided for in the Old Testament (Ex. 15:23-26, Isa. 53: 4-5) and is an integral part of the New Testament Gospel as taught by Christ, the apostles and the Early church (Matt. 8:16-17, Acts 5:16).

12Tithing
All Christian believers including all ministers should tithe to the storehouse of God from where they receive their spiritual food (Mal. 3:10-11).

13The Resurrection of the Saints
We believe in the Post-tribulation Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ in the clouds, to catch away His bride (1 Thess. 4:16-17).

14The Second Advent of Christ
The second coming of Christ is the actual visible return of Christ with His saints to reign with Him on earth for one thousand years, (Rev. 19:11-14, 20:1-6). This millennial reign will bring salvation to Israel (Romans 11:26-27), and the establishment of the universal peace (Isa 11:6—9, Mark 4:3-4).

15The Final Judgment
There will be a final judgment in which the wicked dead will be raised and judged according to their works (Matt. 25:46, Rev. 19:20, 20:11-15).

16The New Heaven and the New Earth
We, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness (2 Peter 3:13, Rev.21:1).
